A highly unusual scene for Conrail Shared Assets local SA-31; running on a Tuesday this week due to the blizzard last Thursday, CSX 2798 developed mechanical problems enroute to the Southern Secondary. Arriving last night, Conrail mechanical forces worked on the crippled unit, and she is seen cut away from the rest of the train. A new crew would arrive soon, and the train would continue its journey to Lakewood, NJ, although 2798 would continue to malfunction for the duration. |
